We’re counting down the days before we wrap up the decade (can you believe it?). As we gear up for the new year, we’d like to thank you for your support this 2019. We look forward to even bigger things in store for AHP this coming 2020!

AHP Christmas Cruise

Ahoy, mates! Team AHP capped the year off with a Christmas party cruising around the Sydney harbour on the 7th of December, 2019.

Spreading Joy, Giving Back this Christmas

‘Tis the season for sharing and giving! This is why team AHP took on Our Big Kitchen to prepare meals for the firies and the homeless. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for the staff to give back to the community together.

Welcome Our New Recruits

We’re capping off the year with 5 new members of the growing AHP team!

Rose Velasco Villaluz

Accounts Assistant
I have spent several years working in accounts; it was challenging but after some time, I found it a little bit boring. With AHP, there’s no room for boredom anymore. The environment is so happy, full of life and makes me look forward to coming to work every day. I found a new family here and I am looking forward to a long and fruitful career with AHP.

Dina Khalaf

Recruitment Consultant
– Aged Care
After working in retail sales for three years, I ambitioned to find a company that provides great support, career progression and experience development. AHP has welcomed me within the team and has definitely provided me with great support. There are a lot of opportunities for company growth with AHP. I am really excited to see myself further develop and progress within the AHP family.

Kailey Kirk

Talent Acquisition and Aged Care Support
I come from nearly 2 years of recruitment experience, having to recruit for blue-collar work (trades and labour, logistics, etc.) and finance professionals in the past. This is my first interaction with the world of Allied Health & Medical. Definitely, something close to my heart so it’s safe to say I’m loving it! Working for a company that truly assists people and gives back to the community is so fulfilling and this is what I love to do.

Rose Nasser

Talent Acquisition and Aged Care Support
I am one of 3 directors leading the professional team in the NDIS and Home Care. I have been in the NDIS space since the very beginning. I was working in the trial site in the Hunter as a NDIS Senior Service Consultant, directly responsible for the opening this office. I worked closely with NDIA and other peak bodies, assisting them with data and trial material during the pilot stage of the NDIS. I worked solely, then after a short period of time required 2 staff to help with the load. I was based in Newcastle for 5 years then was asked to move for the launch of the companies NDIS work in Sydney – which I did with my family in tow for another 3 years.

After this, I obtained a role in another company and managed its national launch in the NDIS and Aged Care space. After 18 months of work and 600 NDIS and 200 Home Care clients later, I moved on to AHP to pursue my career further.

Before joining both companies in the NDIS and Home Care, I was a Director of two pre-schools and at the same time worked as a youth/disability worker in various women and children homes/ disability group homes and in the community.

Katherine Leoudis

Senior Healthcare Manager
“I originally started my career in medical imaging at Castlereagh Radiology as a medical typist moving into PA to a GM. Fast forward a few years, a few roles as team secretary, marketing assistant, accounts officer, EA and working for Australian Defence Industries as EA to an Ex Brigadier and NSW Office Manager. I also worked for Castle Personnel a DES and NDIS provider and a business called “Recruitnow” recruiting dentists, pharmaceutical and nursing staff. Fast forward again I find myself back in Sydney working in Hurstville doing start-up desks for Hays, but something was missing. Enter AHP….. It’s only been three weeks but I can honestly say I am more than excited about my future with the business because recruitment is such a great career…how we truly change lives, coupled with the ability to guide our clients and candidates to make career-building decisions excites me!”
