After months of preparation, there’s only 2 weeks to go until marathon day! Get behind AHP as 21 members of our team run the Gold Coast Marathon for Charlie.

On Friday the 14th of June, the team got a nice surprise as little Charlie paid the AHP office a visit. Charlie is truly a special boy; his warmth and cheerfulness endears him to everyone he meets. It is an absolute privilege for the team to be running the marathon to support Charlie and his family.

Charlie has been suffering from a rare disorder that has severely affected his growth and development. However, the lack of diagnosis means Charlie’s family have difficulty getting sufficient funding for equipment and treatment.

Money raised will go towards finding a diagnosis and treatment for Charlie’s condition and specialist equipment urgently needed for this special boy. We appeal to your kind hearts to support this campaign by making a donation.

Please take time to watch the story of little Charlie

Wishing Aden Leigh the best of luck in his new role

Aden Leigh

Recruitment Consultant – Aged Care
As of the 21st of June, I have transferred out of our internal aged care team at Australian Health Professionals. My new role at AHP is in external recruitment for aged care and I will be managing both South Australia and West Australia. I am extremely excited for the new challenges ahead as part of our growing external recruitment team, the energy in our office is electric and it inspires me to push to be the best I can be.

This will give me a great opportunity to add value to the aged care industry in WA and SA by sourcing and placing top talent across my region. Although I am going to miss working with the internal team I am just as eager to get stuck in to my new position and working with the external team.

Welcoming our latest AHP recruit, Jordan Molyneux

Talent Acquisition and Aged Care Support

It’s a very exciting time for me, I left England to further my career in recruitment and I couldn’t think of anywhere better than lavish Sydney. I’ve spent time in different sectors of recruitment with the most recent being in construction however the health industry is by far the most rewarding. The added benefit of health care recruitment is the prospect of working alongside a multitude of medical professionals and providing essential care to Australian citizens.

During my short while with the company I’ve already been made to feel like one of the family. not to mention the ping pong table, massage chair and all round good vibes. For the first time in a while I’m looking forward to the future!
